• Q: How do I scrap a car?

  Recycle your vehicle service makes it easy for you to scrap your car. Simply enter your registration and postcode, and we’ll guide you through the rest of the process.

• Q: What if my car is not in good condition?

  You can scrap any car with Recycle your vehicle no matter what condition it’s in. We buy any car. We’re a scrap car company, so it doesn’t even matter if your scrap car is completely written off!

• Q: Do i need to be present at time of collection?

  No. As long as you have arranged a collection time with us, arranged to leave the vehicle key in a safe place our driver can load the vehicle. Payment will then be authorised by transfer after collection. Please make sure that the vehicle is accessible for our driver.

• Q: How do I prove my identity?

  A current photo-card driving licence is all that we need to confirm your full name, date of birth and residential address.

  If you don’t have a photo-card driving license, you can produce another form of photo ID, along with separate proof of your address.

• Q: When will my scrap car be collected?

  We’ll contact you to confirm a quote and agree a suitable collection time. Although we can’t tell you to the minute when we’ll be able to get to you – due to traffic and other appointments – we’re happy to take your contact number and call you on the day so you have a better idea of when we’ll be there. We can also send you SMS messages to keep you updated.

• Q: What do I have to do to prepare my car for collection?

  Not much, As long as it’s complete you can scrap your car with us, just make sure it’s accessible – it’s no good if it’s locked away in a garage or out at the back of your home! If you have the documentation that comes with the car – such as the V5 logbook – then please have that ready to give to our collection team.

• Q: Can I drop off my Vehicle?

  Sorry not at the minute, we are working on building our network and hope for this service to be available soon.

• Q: Is it just cars you scrap?

  No, we recycle cars, vans, mpv’s and 4×4’s.
